What started with 26 rolls of fabric and a dream has become one of South Africa’s most loved fashion labels. Iconic Designs was born from Martie Walker's bold leap in 2014 and has since grown into a celebration of colour, confidence, and individuality.
Each collection is designed with real women in mind and made from high-quality fabrics such as 100% Indian cotton and imported viscose from Spain. Most garments are made right here in Cape Town by our incredible CMT teams, while our Imported Collection is brought to life in India, where Martie works closely with our team to ensure every detail is Iconic-perfect.

Beautiful. I usually wear as size 36, small-medium, 34 DD and this fit comfortably. I’m not crazy about the batwing sleeve, but thats down to personal taste. The top does get hooked fairly easily but I usually a crocheting hook to pull the yarn back and just spent a bit of time smoothing out and spacing the stitches again. I do a very gentle hand wash and flat dry is on a towel until most of the water has gone and then flat dry further with the towel to ensure it keeps it’s shape.
